In your blog if you give links of other websites then the website is opened in the same browser window which take away from your blog to the website and you loose your Blog Visitor. But you know, there is very simple procedure to make your blog links to open in new browser window, and also keep your visitor on your website. Here is how it is done.
While writing your blog in "New Post" or "Edit Posts" , click the "Edit HTML" tab (you normally write your blog in Compose Option selected at top right corner) and add a target tag to the link's code.
A link's HTML code looks like this
< href="http://www.example.com"> Text < /a >
To make the link open in a new window, add target="new" between the URL's end quote and closing bracket. Like this:
< href="http://www.example.com" target="new"> Text < /a >
